The ramparts of the city (approximately 2000 meters length) will be noticed.

 

They are reinforced by 3 circular towers and 14 quadrangular turns, by 5 bastions, 2 fortifications and a large fortress named St Jean (Sveti Ivan).

 

      

 

It is necessary to stroll in the principal street “Stradun” which leaves the Pile door and crosses the city juqu' to the Revelin fortress.
