  Hverfjall

Second place of the day. The landscape becomes lunar and chaotic.

Hverfjall is a crater of 2500 years old explosion. It dominates the area. Its dimensions: 160 m in height for a diameter of 1040 Mr.

It is absolutely necessary to go up at the top to observe all the surrounding area.

We have here a sight of the neighborhoods of the crater. It is a sand desert and stones.

Sight brought closer to the ground… the vegetation pains to be essential.

One can observe the interior of the crater here.

We now will direct we towards Dimmuborgir which is located at the south-east of the lake Myvatn.
