  Varmahlid: The farm of Glaumbaer

We are in the afternoon of August 9. We arrive at Varmahlid: a “village” being summarized at a service station, a tourist bureau and a hotel.

It rains much. We have patience of long hours in the contiguous cafeteria by hoping for a lull: impossible to assemble the tent under such execrable conditions. Fortunately, at the end of the afternoon, the sun returned.

The following day, we leave for the farm Glaumbaer located at approximately 7 km. A small bus brings us to it.

The buildings of this farm date from the XVII ème and XVIII ème century. They out of wood, are separated by walls from peat.

The parts are connected between them by a large corridor. The roof is carried out starting from a thick grass.
