The cloudy ceiling is very low. Time was rather bad lasting our two days of presence (cold, rain, fog)
In 1973, on this island, a volcano extinguished for 6000 years has awaked, giving a gigantic explosion. Consequence: a completely buried city and a death.
One sees here very well the residues of the explosion.
The city has today 5000 inhabitants and the essential resource of the island is fishing.
