Day 1: From Amman with Um Quais via Jerash

The Visa card does not want to pass in the distributers of Amman. Fortunately our second bank card, Mastercard functions.

One penetrates in the bank, to try to know the reason of the problem with the visacard.

One is likely not to more find distributers in the south of Jordan, and the withdrawable quantity on a chart is reached a maximum.

Several people help us to find the good counter, the counter clerk calls upon the owner of the agency to explain us the problem (a breakdown of the network), one to us will propose a tea.

Everyone extraordinarily nice, without back is thought: it is a little destabilizing!

Our flight return is confirmed (shop Kuwait flight, near to the place). It was impossible the day before, all was closed with the airport.

A bus leaves to 10 a.m. for Jerash, our first halt. The way lasts approximately one hour. (0,75 JD for 2)

The entry of the site is to 5 sea-green JD/. Mohammed who deals with small souvenir shop proposes to keep us the back bags. One hesitates a little. Finally, one trusts him.

The visit is sympathetic. A guard shows us that the columns move with the wind by using its key. Impressing!

One then will eat in a restaurant in the vicinity. It starts to rain.

The afternoon starts, one returns to the small shop, it is heated, that fall well, it is cold outside and it continues to rain.

Mohammed proposes a tea to us, then another, one speaks… One makes photographs… it offers an object of his store to us… it does not want that something is bought to him.
